Knitting Update: Part Trois

Ok, this is the last of the basket....... for today anyway. There is one shawl and I think it is going to be sitting in there awhile. It's a big one!!! :) But anyway, last three remaining items. I am overjoyed at the thoughts of starting something NEW!!!!

Pattern: Thermis (rav link) by KrisKnits
Yarn: Dream In Color Punky Fuschia
Needles: Size 6 Circular

This is a gift for a friend for Christmas. What can I say about this pattern, it's easy, not boring and so darn cute! I will be making more of these. FYI Knitters....Dream in Color is fantastic in the worsted weight and is perfect for this. Definitely one of my favorite yarns.

Now the buttons are special. They were purchased in the garment district in NYC on my LAST trip there with Mark. ;( I miss the city, the district but not as much as I miss him.

Pattern: Toast by Leslie Friend (see Knitting Part Deux for the link)
Yarn: Rowan Yorkshire Tweed Aran
Needles: Size 7 DPN

Love the pattern and the yarn. I had this in my stash for ages. I got it from a person who deals in closeout yarns from the factory. Can you imagine being that close the the Rowan factory??? They would have to chase me away with a mad dog!!!

Pattern: Baktus (rav link) by Strikkelise
Yarn: Blue Moon Fiber Arts Medium Weight Socks That Rock in Monsoon
Needles: Size 3

The yarn has been in my stash waiting for something special and this was it. Not an exciting knit but very gratifying nonetheless. Simple garter stitch with increase and decreases. Oh my is this cute on!!! No, really cute. Have I said it is cute?? ;) I will be making more, and more of these. Perfect for the waiting rooms and marathon tv watching.

You can't tell from the picture just how pretty this color way is. LOVE.
I see a matching bracelet for this in my future. :)

Here it is from the Blue Moon website! Fabulous!

That's all for today!
