Yarn: Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece (3 skeins)
Needles: Size 6
This was for a friend who rearrange her entire day to take me into Boston for a test! My favorite pattern of all time and it was a joy to knit. A bit disappointed int he photos though because I could not capture just how pretty this was in person. She looked great in it too!

Yarn: Lily Brand Sugar and Cream - Assorted Colors
Needles: Size 6
These went home with my mother the other day! You can never have too many of these babies!

Yarn: Cider Moon Blizzard in "Istanbul"
Needles: Size 6
I loved everything about this knit. Yarn was AWESOME and had been in my stash for AGES. Was a tad leery about the color at first, but it matched the top I wanted to wear it with PERFECTLY!!!!
Yarn: Lily Sugar and Cream in Robin's Egg Blue and Cream
Needles: Size 10 and 7 *
This was for my friend's little grandson who had the SWINE FLU at a month old. Poor little guy. He is doing much better now!
I am also unsatisfied with the top of his head. I cannot seem to get the written directions done as they should (even after many tries) so I just bound off purl wise. I will be making more so I'm sure i can figure something out!
* I think I would drop the needle size down on the head to a 5 or 6. He looks like he has a bit of hydrocephalus going on there. But he is still soft and snuggly!
Ok, more on the next post!!!

Oooo, I love the colors in the Lavalette shawl! I've never tried Cider Moon yarns before I'll have to keep them in mind.
Thanks Melanie!!! Unfortunately Cider Moon closed up shop....BUT Jacki one of the dyers has her own place now!! She is "yarnzombie" on etsy and the yarns are just as wonderful!!!!
Duly noted *and* bookmarked. lol
I just fell down the striped yarn rabbit hole again yesterday aka the latest Knitterly Things update. *sigh*
On a better note, I 'saved' my yarn my moths. Couldn't find any in my stash, reorganized everything into plastic bins and bought lots of cedar blocks to throw in with the yarn. So I think I'm all good now! :)
So happy to hear that your stash was saved!!! I should probably do that too....just in case!
And I saw that update......and resisted....just barely! I really wanted the "Dragon's Blood" yarn!!!! :)
