Happy Monday! I hope everyone's football team did well over the weekend!
The knitting basket is "almost" empty"!!! I finished up two projects yesterday while I watched "True Blood". Love that show! I will get those finished (just a few buttons to sew) today. It feels so good to have an (almost) empty basket! Now I can start some new projects........ after I finish a lace shawl.........

Yarn: Manos Silk Blend (3068)
Needles: Size 5 Circular
I love how this turned out. It was a birthday prezzie fora friend. The yarn is FABULOUS and it was a joy to knit with! And the color ROCKS!

Yarn: Mountain Colors Twizzle in Sierra
Needles: Size 7 DPN
Great mitts!! A nice long cuff and very easy!!! I will be making more of these. In fact, I already have and I will post pair #2 later in week!

Yarn: Lily Sugar and Cream Cotton in Hot Green and Summer Splash
Needles: Size 7
Ok, I LOVE this. I plan on making more! Lots More! I found a stash of cotton in funky retro shades! Wouldn't these make nice housewarming gifts in a little basket with some nice kitchen soaps? Ok, I just have to say one thing....... the mitered portion is GREAT, but when you get to the yarn double, the cotton makes your hands HURT!!!

Yarn: Takhi Cotton Classic in Cream
Needles: size F hook
Extras: black purse ring and buttons from JoAnn Fabrics
This was a test. I love the pattern, well written and it's just adorable....BUT.....it is HUGE. I don't think it has to do with the pattern, just the size hook (I must crochet at a loose tension) and the yarn. I plan on making more of these. Very funky!!! Every so often it is nice to throw some crochet into the mix.....talk about instant gratification!

Yarn: Sugar and Cream in Swimming Pool
Needles: Size 6 DPN
Extras: Grosgrain ribbon for ties
As I have said before, I love these little gift bags. It was a fun break to knit something colorful and easy while watching trashy reality TV!!! :)
Ok, I have a few more projects and then I will be done boring you! I will never let the knitting get so behind again! It took too long to post all this stuff! Time for a refill on my coffee!

Holy cow! You've been a busy girl!
Everything looks gorgeous, as usual. :-)
Thanks Jenagirl!!! But actually most of them were half finished so all I had to do was finish them off! :) When I said that basket was full, I was NOT kidding!!!
