Shawls for All!!

Well, I can finally show you some of the knitting that I have been talking about!! I know, it has taken me long enough but I had to wait until the birthday girl received hers before posting. And mine had to finish blocking. It's been a tad humid here lately, so it took longer than normal. :) So without further ado, I give you my Shetland Triangles!!!

This one was a gift! I love how it turned out and I especially love the color!

This one is mine. I have a love/hate relationship with the yarn. It was in my stash so I used it but doubtful I would actually buy another skein. It does have lovely gold flecks running through it, although in the picture you cannot see it. I plan on making a fantastic pair of earrings to wear with it!

Words cannot express how much I love this pattern. Easy enough to memorize and knit while watching tv but enough knitting to prevent boredom, this is a perfect pattern. I plan on making so many more. In fact, here is the yarn for my next project!

This is 100% Cashmere fingering weight yarn from School Products in NYC.
It's beautiful yarn and I cannot wait to start knitting with it!

Project Specs for you knitters!!

Pattern: Shetland Triangle by Evelyn Clark
Book: Wrap Style
Needles: Clover size 6 14 " straights (yes really!!)
Green Shawl: Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece in Spryte
Purple Shawl: Blue Heron Yarns Rayon Metallic in Lavender
Notes: I followed the pattern exactly for both doing the eight pattern repeats.
On the next one, I will do at least 10!
