Hi Everyone! Sorry it has been so long between posts! I'm here, plugging away at things that need to get done and trying to hang in.

I decided I need a good laugh, so that being said, I need suggestions on funny movies!! I welcome any and all possibilities. So what is your favorite funny movie??

I like weird quirKy things like Napoleon Dynamite, and Austin Powers, so tell me yours???

I've never watched it, but my kids like Zoolander and Anchorman. Me, personally, I like Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.

Second Planes, Trains & Automobiles, that is a great one. Also, Steve Martin's "The Jerk," I love Steve Martin! "Vacation" with Chevy Chase and "What about Bob?" are a couple other favorites. I guess I tend to like 80s style comedies!

Knocked up!; Keeping Mum
These are the two I have watched lately and they were good for a laugh.

Katie! So good to see you posting.

Anyway, not my absolute favorite, but one I'm confident you'll enjoy (if you haven't seen it already) -- The Loved One, a 1965 release.

Per Netflix:

Based on the Evelyn Waugh novel, The Loved One skewers the U.S. funeral industry and along with it, U.S. values. Soon after a British poet (Robert Morse) arrives at the Hollywood home of his uncle (John Gielgud), the uncle ends up dead. Now, the poet must deal with the crew at Whispering Glades cemetery: Mr. Joyboy (Rod Steiger), the embalmer; a funeral home manager and his twin (both played by Jonathan Winters); and a coffin salesman (Liberace).

Off the top of my head, my favorite is probably Dr. Strangelove.
