I decided I should write a little something here, as yesterday everytime I tried blogger, it was down. Ok, I love this blogger, don't get me wrong. But when I want to write, I must write NOW. Less the brilliant idea, quip or story will get lost in the recesses of my brain. And it's a deep recess people. I have NO IDEA what I was going to write about, so I will begin anew.
Has this been the longest week??? I don't know about you but I feel like I am in that movie "Groundhog Day" with Bill Murray. I cannot believe it is only Wednesday, it should be next week, at least.
Ok, I must confess, I am a germ-a phobe. I try not to be one of those people who wipe everything with antibacterial products (which I read someplace are completely useless, but that is a story for later) and wear layers of protective plastic clothing anywhere in public during flu season, but this my friends is SCARY!!! Yesterday, my husband came home telling me that one of the secretaries in the office's husband and his crew at the fire department had the Norwalk virus. Yes, THAT virus which turned many a pleasure cruise into a cruise to hell and back (which is one of the many reasons vacation cruises do not interest me!). I shudder. Then, I had breakfast with a friend this morning. She happens to be in charge of a very nice nursing home in the fancy schmancy town nearby. And guess what, over Christmas 68 residents and 12 employees had the Norwalk virus. No, seriously. This is bad. The germophobe in me took over. I am preparing for it, I can't stop, and I can't help it. Tomorrow, I run to Target for everything antibacterial, and immodium. You can NEVER be too prepared.
