Where are you Muse???

Well, it's been a week!!!! I feel like I am drowning here, and it is NOT because of the rain we are having (actually it was welcomed, I need a nice dark rainy day!!). I don't know if I am coming, going or been. This past month as been a whirlwind and I think October will go by even faster!! I feel like I have done nothing all week!!!

Actually, I managed to make a card for my Knitter's Tea Swap pal to go with her gift, and I managed to take that to the PO and get it sent off...well, see, I have done something.....

Next week is my wedding anniversary, and we will be spending it on Nantucket......Yay!!! I am looking forward to a little break. I am bringing knitting, and my idea book for designs and hopefully getting to know my creative muse again.......And I apologize for the lack pizazz in the blog this week. Maybe Nantucket will bring back the writing muse as well.

Oh my gosh, Katie, we are sooo sympatico! I have felt all week that I've GOT to get some jewelry made and everything but that happened!

I attended my son's college orientation in San Francisco all day Thursday. It was a blast hanging out with the very cool administrators and I loved meeting other parents.

But it was stuff like this that kept me thinking "life keeps getting in the way!"

As soon as I said that about the third time, I remembered...this is why I started my jewelry business...so that I could work but make it fit into my life and here I was trying to make it work the other way around.

Now, why did it take me a whole week to figure that out? Sheesh...glad I get the next few days off traveling with my sister. I need to get away from it all.

It sure won't be Nantucket though. Congratulations and have a fabulous time with the man you love.
